Crews and Individual Placements
Our Crew Program completes high-quality projects as they gain technical skills and expand their knowledge of upper Midwest natural resources. Crew Leaders and Members are paid a living stipend for their service.
Our Individual Placement Program provides young conservation professionals with focused, hands-on opportunities to serve alongside and under the guidance of our agency mentors. The Program provides our corpsmembers with a link between the academic and professional space.
The Nature Place
At The Nature Place, we believe that environmental and nature education is crucial to the development of schoolchildren, youth, and adults through quality learning experiences in nature and with a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Our goal is to foster appreciation and a sense of stewardship for the environment and our natural resources throughout the La Crosse community and surrounding area as a whole.
As a result, individuals will develop a deeper understanding of environmental issues and have the skills to make informed and responsible decisions.
